my story and I'm 22 years old and I've been looking for a way to improve my face as a whole . in the past I had no problem with it then I realized that I was falling behind all my friends looked more beautiful and I got backwards I almost got in depression but I decided that now is the time to change the times I think it's too late already but I still have some hope I had beautiful teeth I never cared how I'm trying to take care of myself now.

I looked for ways to improve my jaw for videos on youtube thinking that I would solve all my problems, but this only showed me how much I need to improve on , I discovered several problems with my face, it is asymmetrical, I have deviated from the nasal septum, I have not yet been to any doctor to really know what I have in my face,

What can be my case, I find my face very short and very asymmetrical. I almost do not have a jaw line in the photos, I can send some photos if they want to analyze my case, I have not yet gone to any dentist to know what I really have I want to fix my teeth but with a good jawline , maybe mewing , facepulling ? I don't know what to do.t

sorry for my bad english , is not the my language native , I'm using google translate

sorry for my bad english

I've been researching how to improve my face in a natural way for long time

in brazilians forum does not exist  practically nothing  to start this journey .

I need your help

Where should I start?

It's hard to tell knowing almost nothing about you. You can practice mewing, that should be good for everyone, but before that you should understand (if you don't already know) the basics about it and its purpose. If you don't even know what is mewing, search it on google, but it would be very strange that you found this forum without knowing even that.

Anyways I suggest you to provide more information about your case, so that the experts (and I am not one of those) are able to respond you.

I edited the topic friend, I think you can help me? or is there still missing information?

Please elaborate what you mean by "I find my face very short." In general we think of the effects of craniofacial dystrophy as a lengthening of the midface as the maxilla drops down and back. Perhaps this is not your problem. Like PorpoStaz said, just get started trying to improve your oral posture habits. A lot of what we are going on is speculative, but we're most sure everyone should breathe through their nose, keep their lips together, teeth in light contact, and tongue on the roof of their mouth. You might consider adding some chewing and/or tongue exercises. Beyond that, it depends on your individual situation. Are you able to lift your posterior tongue up to your palate? If not, is this prevented because limited palate space or tongue tie? Those with a narrow palate might use a palate expander. Those with tongue tie might get a frenectomy. Facepulling might be a useful supplement to oral posture to help shift the maxilla up and forward. There are other discretionary techniques for cranial adjustment, body posture, nutrition, etc. Read through the articles and scan the forum topics. Let us know if you have any specific questions.

Your English is far better than my Portuguese! Let me know if there's anything you don't understand. I just want to say first that you shouldn't be disheartened by your appearance at all. It's always easiest to find our own faults, and you come across in the pictures as a handsome guy in good shape. That being said, it does look like your maxilla is a little recessed, for example the cheek line from your eye to your nose in profile is relatively flat, so you could benefit from improving your oral posture in the way I described above to bring your maxilla up and forward. This might also improve the asymmetries in your occlusal plane. It also looks like you could work on correcting your forward head posture. It's good that you can position your tongue on your palate. This and your uncrowded teeth make me think that you could feasibly achieve results if you consistently practice correct posture without the need for an appliance to expand your palate.

Thank you first for responding and for all patience. I was thinking of getting mewing, but I also want to straighten my teeth by putting braces mewing together with good body posture could solve some of my problems?

a strong jawline is my desire with a good facial symmetry I hope to achieve this

Ideally, Mewing will help align the teeth without the need for braces. If you practice posture techniques with braces on, you might still get some movement of the maxilla up and forward, but the braces would restrict the natural palate expansion or teeth alignment effects. You might try Mewing for a couple years to see what kind of results you can get from oral posture alone, and then use braces or invisible aligners to straighten out any remaining crooked teeth if necessary. Chewing exercises will help develop your masseter muscles and might promote the stronger jawline you are looking for. Keeping your tongue on the roof of your mouth also lifts up the soft tissue below the jawline to give it a more defined appearance. You should also practice correct swallowing technique ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gcI8CvoFxfQ&t= ).

I've watched the promotional video but never tried the "jawzrsize" product. It might be worth considering. I just use hard gum. When you are doing chewing exercises you have to keep the strength of the tongue in balance with the strength of the masseters or you might experience side effects like clenching or sleep bruxism. I like gum so that I can move the bolus around my mouth and also alternate between chewing and smashing the gum with my tongue against my palate. I updated my last post with a link to a video about swallowing technique. This will also help strengthen your tongue, and minimize the prominence of your buccinator muscles.

Happy to help! Try not to get discouraged, because it is a slow process and changes are so gradual that sometimes you don't notice without before and after pictures.
