Maxilla expansion techniques seem so obvious at this point in medical/health history. Mew, MSE or ALF (far as my research goes).. Given the maxilla and cranium has sutures, there’s hope ! To get the expansion with minimum negative interference I feel is key..
What if the mandible is narrow and we want sideways-width-expansion. Far as my research tells me, there is no way to expand an adult mandible sideways, unless we consider intrusive surgical methods like BMDO. I want to consider ALF. I’m okay even if the expansion takes 10 years, long as I’m expanding with nature and not against it. But will how can ALF give me sideways expansion if the mandible can’t grow sideways?? Please offer your expert opinions..
