Has anyone else, while using an expansion device (MSE or otherwise), felt any soreness/tension at the back of the temporal bone, especially at the beginning of an expansion regime? The last two times I resumed expansion after having taken at least a month off, I've felt this tension rather strongly (almost as if I had taken a blow to that spot), but only on my left side. This image illustrates, with the red line, exactly where I'm feeling the tension:
If my skeletal bones are in fact adjusting due to the expansion, why would I feel such strong pressure in such a posterior part of my skull? I've felt other sensations in the anterior part but none nearly as strong or painful as this.
I researched and found the anatomical name for this part of the skull: occipitomastoid suture
@mr_man can't see why but what I mostly see in well-developed face's is that the temporal bone is more back and more short
and with people with craniofacial symptoms, you see mostly that it is less back and mostly higher
