Anyone have issue biting inside of cheeks as a result of expansion?

I was curious about this, especially if I ever end up getting MSE or anything like that.  I suppose one's mouth is used to having everything positioned a certain way, so expanding one's palate, I imagine, could cause the upper molars to rub against or bite the inner cheeks.

Not that this would stop me.  I had braces when I was younger, and got used to the irritation and sores in my mouth.  Just curious about this, and if anyone did have such irritation, did it eventually go away?

For me, it was the opposite. I used to frequently bite the inside of my cheeks while eating because my lower arch was wider than my upper arch with dental compensation preventing crossbite. Once I expanded my upper arch wider than my lower arch with MSE, the upper arch held the cheek curtain out away from the biting surface, preventing the tissue from getting caught between the teeth. If I remember correctly, Dr. Mike Mew responded to my question about this in one of the TGW Q&A videos, explaining this mechanism.

Ok, that does make sense.  Thanks for the input!
