Using splint activators like the myobrace for the past 5+ months has totally resolved my mild lower incisor crowding.
I don't understand why the myobrace would work. Doesn't the myobrace only fit the upper palate?

No, splint activators like the myobrace have a channel for both the upper and lower teeth that guide them into better alignment. They don't cover the palate. They certainly aren't a panacea, but my lower incisor crowding is one concern they have totally resolved for me.
May you please explain more about splint activators. I don't understand how it could fix mandibular teeth

Splint activators like the myobrace have a channel for both the top and bottom dental arches. The ramp-shaped walls of the channels guide the teeth into uniform alignment based on the bite force and hold them close to a class I relationship. The challenge can be finding the right size and shape activator. The adult myobrace line only comes in regular and large sizes. There are activator suppliers for other sizes and shapes, but unless you have a narrow palate it can be hard to find one wide enough. The large size myobrace is a little too small for me, and my intermolar width is under 40mm. Ideally you want the channels to be slightly wider than your current arches.
