How to evert the gonion & widen the jaw from front?

This is the one thing I’ve not yet seen any real info on how to do. We talk all the time about forward growth and maxilla, but there seems to be no option to move the mandible in the same way.

My biggest “problem” are my gonions: slightly too narrow & slightly neutral/inward. I’m lacking that healthy defined sharp jaw look as a result.

I have done chewing for a little bit, and while I’m not fully sure yet, it seems that the resulting visual effect, at least in part, looks like to facial bloat. The masseter pops a bit more but it sits a bit more forward along the mandible, in front of where the gonion curves in, so it widens from the front but when viewed from the side you can see it curves in towards the end past the masseter pop. Maybe I am chewing with the wrong teeth?

I remember @helmutstrebl got some quite good gains from chewing + intense chin tucking and his jaw seemed to widen. Is it possible that chin tucking causes the gonion to correct itself via pressure of ramming into the SCM muscles hard? Is there another mechanism that can make this happen? Anyone found anything?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

As far as i think their are 3 things that are relevant to this forum and 1 is another method that can make this happen:

1) The first one is about using the muscles in the lower jaw that in under the tongue and are used by the tongue for its movement
a picture would be

image

by activating these muscle outwards force is apply laterally on the lower jaw which may widen it
i also think that another reason for these muscles is that when ur upper jaw expands ur lower jaw also expands and in order to expand ur upper jaw u hve to use the tongue which in turn activates these muscle. This might also be why people when narrow lower jaw cant have mse's or palate expanders because if they would their upper jaws would develop but their lower jaws will remain the same because there is no force on the lower jaw laterally but when the tongue is used for expansion the muscle activate and hence force is applied to the lower jaw

also only thumb pulling will not activate these muscles hence it wont widened it laterally

(this is just my theory it might or might not work but i think it widened my lower jaw even tho i wasnt focused on actually making it wider cuz my bigger problem was my upper jaw)

2) the second one would be not about actually widening the lower jaw but by rotating it upwards by via methods by mewing
by this u will be able the get a wider looking jaw because it will be rotated upwards

to prove this take a selfie whilst down and another one whilst looking upwards
you will notice that chagning the angles make the jaw look wider or narrower and upward growth will rotate the jaw upwards and u will get u wider looking jaw

3) by training your masseters. i dont think i have to explain this

4) a bonus one will be that assymetries can also cause a narrow looking jaw and u should fix them
i will be making a post on how to fix them but i am not sure about them just yet. i have gotten results but they are not very visible yet myabe in the fute if they give me more results i may make a post

5) and also a big factor in this would be growth and hormones and in my opinion it will be the most effective way to widen it because a wide jaw is a dimorphic feature in males however if u are a female then the upper methods i think will be better as they will widen ur jaw without ruining the dimorphism

and also i forgot to mention that chin tucking activates the muscles behind the lower jaw which may have contributed to salludon's improvement
but a personal opinion is that salludon is half natural which means that he got surgery and also mewed and chin tucked etc
but i also think that he improved his jaw naturally due to chin tucks

as he said that chin tucks increased this lower jaw width which may be true and if its true it may also contribute to my theory that these tongue muscles widen the lower jaw

@admin I would like to have ur opinion on whether these muscles can affect the lower jaw laterally

I definitely feel the same suspicious sentiment you do about salludon but also kinda feel like he could very well be natural. If I’ve learned anything in life is that most people are not willing to “anything it takes” to get any of their desires. Most people don’t desire it enough. Even myself, being very substantially interested in this stuff, have not yet truly been super insanely consistent with hard intensity like salludon claims. I think a big reason why we think the results are unnatural is because the work ethic behind it was “unnatural.” When you look at the face it does look crazy at first but closer inspection, to me, seems legit. Everything changed just a little bit and the cumulative effect is what shocks you. I don’t like to believe something in the body that is dysfunctional is not susceptible to correction over time. The body wants to improve and reach ideal structure. The question is just how to unlock it and guide it.

Your connection with the tongue muscles could definitely help, but I need to think about more. Why do people have gonions that go inward then? Did they use their tongue less in some important capacity? It’s really my only problem. Broadly speaking, I had braces in the past and even went to an orthodontist recently to discuss these ideas and she said my arch is pretty wide. It’s not 50mm or something perfect but wide and my face is pretty well balanced, it’s literally just the gonion curving in that makes the jaw look soft? I never heard anyone discuss this. Could it be an antegonial notch, a curving of the mandible, to compensate for insufficient forward growth? My wisdom teeth have grown slightly diagonal and are not fully out. Perhaps this is it?

I don’t mean to make a thread all about me, but my case is making me consider new ideas I haven’t seen before. Maybe facepulling will allow for the jaw to widen on its own, affording it the room to do so? Or will I still need some stimulus to do it?

Related: I saw a fantastic thread recently on this topic, facepulling and the esoterics about it. Highly recommend: https://looksmax.org/threads/og-gatekept-facepulling-thread.1362847/

and maybe because of the xrays i am convinced that only the palate can change the lower jaw

and also i vividly that remember someone said on the .org that the orthodontist says that they cant get a palate expander because he had a narow jaw and if he only expands his upper jaw his upper and lower teeth wont meet while chewing and obv he wont be able to chew food

so they said that they will get him an expander for the lower jaw that will expand him and thats why i started thinking that only expanding the upper jaw wont expand the lower jaw but it only will change the gonial angle from the side profile

and also he said he fix his diet, posture and other stuff so that may have affected him

another point he said that he fixed his posture so he def fixed his tongue posture as well
