So basically I swallow properly (no mouth and cheeks movement, swallowing only by tongue). It doesn't matter if it is liquid or anything else. Recently, I have noticed that during chewing I use my cheeks to move food towards tongue (when food is in buccal corridor or on top of my lower teeth. Swallow pattern is ofc proper. I can't imagine moving food other way on the tongue for example just by tongue. Do I it wrong? Is that possible to move food from different location on tongue without using cheeks? If it is possible, how?
No, you're fine. The buccinators hold food against the teeth and also works with the tongue to move food around.
