Maxilla Expansion Theory: Roof Pushing

I combined some ideas I've learned from Dr Mike and John Mew. Let me know if this seems like a good idea.

Say the word sing. Hold the G to correct the back of the tongue. Now say T for the front. Combine the T and G position. Suck on the roof to form a vacuum seal. Get rid of extra spit and air.

The tongue should only touch the roof and gums

Suck on the roof and push straight up. Alternate between doing this and pushing both up and forwards.
Open/close the jaw to follow the push. Be as symmetric as possible.

This pushes maxilla up and forward. If done with a lot of force it feels similar to braces

Chewing will hurt after a hard session. Wait until pain is gone to chew hard since teeth are more mobile after roof pushing due to bone reformation.

After upper expansion settles and pain is gone, the lower needs to follow, so chewing is required to calibrate the two jaws, which leads to lower jaw development.

And the upper and lower teeth don't touch. They just barely miss when closing.

The maxilla grows forward due to the stimulation at the maxillary tuberosity, I believe that pushing to each side should result in greater maxillary growth. This is why people with wide smiles have great facial development.

The tongue is hitting every area of the palate with this technique. There's actually buccal forces on each side.

To clarify the up and forwards push, the tongue would only go as far as the incisive papilla and not touch the teeth. If teeth are hit that would be like a tongue thrust which can cause overjet/anterior open bite.

The idea here is to keep the tongue active instead of only pushing in one dimension. I'll be experimenting more by directly pushing the alveolar ridge as far back as possible to hit that tuberocity. Nice tip.

So if I develop the maxilla the jaw will widen too?

Pushing on the teeth may be necessary if elastic orthodontic work has been done. Retroclined incisors and canines prevent mandibular protraction and clockwise rotation (of the mandible not maxilla)
