im trying to figure out which is the best for me. I have an overbite and I feel lightly clenched feels like I can get more pressure but it feels more unnatural compared to mewing with a slightly open bite. I’ve done the open bite for the past day or two and it seemed like my tongue posture has been lacking during sleep that might just be my fault or it could be the new tongue posture

I'm trying to figure out the same thing. Open feels alot more natural for me too. I think I can get the back of my  tongue involved better with the bite slightly open. When i try to mew with my teeth in contact I almost end up clenching, I have a very hard time to regulate the force. "Butterfly" force as Mew puts it is not possible. Its't bite open or bite hard.

So, is mewing with bite slighly open wrong? What can we expect?
