Hello,

I'm currently exploring methods to expand my maxilla and potentially my mandible. I've recently started using the Myobrace A1 (medium size) and have been pleased with the initial results. I'm 19 years old (male) and anticipate transitioning to the A2 model in a few months. However, I have two questions regarding my next step:

  1. Model Choice (A2 vs. T2): I'm considering whether switching to the T2 model instead of the A2 might be more effective for arch expansion. What are the key differences between the A and T models, and would a T2 model be beneficial at my age (19)?

  2. Sizing (Medium vs. Large): While the medium size of the A1 seems appropriate, I'm wondering if using a large size (regardless of whether I choose A2 or T2) would offer additional benefits, even if it means increased discomfort. How can I accurately determine the optimal Myobrace size?

Any insights or recommendations you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Good question. Unfortunately I cannot help with this at the moment but I did want to let you know that the MyoBrace creators/providers do online lectures. I've attended some, you may be able to find and attend them and learn/ask your question
