Hello everybody,
I am a lurker who visits this website once in a while. Two days ago I found a thread which linked to an article about something called "Myofunctional release therapy". I don't know exactly what is was called. Anyways the article goes about rolling away scar tissue in your face in order for muscle tissue to grow and replace fat tissue. It was a very detailed article with illustrations and it was written by (supossedly) by someone with a PHD in something with biology and brains (not neurolgy). Does anyone know which article I am talking about?
I know this is the vaguest description possible but I can not for the life of me find it. I checked my browser history and I couldn't find it for some reason (I have two phones, checked all browsers). So I was hoping if someone knows what I am talking about and can link the article.
Could it have been "myofascial release therapy" rather than "myofunctional"? That sounds more like what you are describing.
Was this the article? Sounds vaguely like what you're talking about, as the author is a PhD. and it was linked in a thread here.

That article is about intra-oral myofascial release for the nasopharynx and soft palate. However, the same author has another article about myofascial release of facial muscles as the OP described ( http://www.observedimpulse.com/2015/03/myofascial-release-for-face-composure.html ). I've recently mentioned both in my progress thread, so that could be where you came across it, if it is what you're looking for. The author goes into more detail about these methods on his Program Peace website linked at the bottom of that article.
