Hi!

I'm having hard time knowing if I have a right tongue posture. The problem I'm having is the position of the tip of my tongue. The advice is that the tip of my tongue should be placed in the incisive papilla, right behind my front teeth. However, when I keep my teeth together, my lower teeth kinda take that place and If I try to correct my tongue posture while keeping my teeth together, I can't put the tip as far as I think it should be or otherwise I'm touching my lower teeth. Any tips here?

If the options are to have good posterior tongue posture with poor tip posture, or good tip posture with poor posterior posture, the first is a vastly superior choice. Failure of the posterior tongue & related deep neck musculature is why you are here in the first place. In terms of achieving changes, it should hardly matter where the tip is placed, but in the long term you should work towards not having to keep the tongue in contact with teeth . As an exercise, you could first cram the posterior tongue against the palate and the dental arches as thoroughly as you can. Then, when the tongue is fully locked against the palate and the teeth, counter this force by sucking the anterior tongue back just a bit until it isn't touching the incisors anymore.
