I have noticed that tongue tied people and people with shorter tongues in general have worse forward maxillary development.

Could we by stretching the tongue achieve the slow remodeling of the maxilla due to constant light pressure applied as a result of longer tongue in our mouth

I think you are mixing concepts (like that supposed remodelling in the adult patient) and tongue-tie or microglossia as a cause for a wrong developments of the jaws.

@sergio-oms no, im trying to imply that by lengthening the tongue it will simply put more pressure on the entire palate and constant light force which it creates will reshape the bone.

I think, hard mewing is Neanderthal concept

I'll ask someone I trust. To me it seems logical that a restricted tongue, once it's released from its tethering and the patient taught on how to strengthen it and position it correctly, will be able to occupy it's natural space and reshape whatever structures are allowed to be reshaped (depending on the age of the patient).

I will ask a myofunctional therapist for her opinion.
