There is no doubt that vitamin K-2 possesses a very important role in bone and dental health. However, the difference in the effectiveness for facioskeletal development between the two most popular forms (MK-4 and MK-7) seems to be somewhat unclear, and I am wondering if anybody can attest to the effectiveness of one type over the other. From what I can gather, MK-4 is most usually noted as more effective than MK-7, as it was the type that was noted to increase bone density and formation in the few studies done on K-2.
Most MK-4 and MK-7 supplements that I can find only provide only around 120mcg of MK-7 or MK-4, and many recommend brands that contain 10mg or more of MK-4. How much MK-7 should be taken if such low dosage supplements of MK-4 exist amongst those recommended brands that contain dozens of times the MK-4?
Also if anybody can suggest any MK-4 (Menatetrenone) sources that ship to Canada, please do.
I have only regularly take this before>

It was the smallest amount I saw. So, I only take a nibble and it's useful, but still too much for me. My heart tenses and muscles tighten with too much. It helped me be calmer, sympathetic and empathetic and read people better. When I quit taking it for a bit, I got into an argument with my punk boss at the time who didn't know a thing about what he was doing. Truthfully, most arguments are about "stuff" but they aren't driven by "stuff"...they're driven by not getting the right cues and interpersonal skills. He was super out of line by not listening...but body language and all that shit are just a way to punish people who do excellent work. There are plenty of awesome contributors who bomb job interviews and are grossly underpaid for it. Oh yes, it also grew in my hair. That's why I think autistic features (which I used to never have until recently) are actually from stuff floating in the blood & not getting put whey they're supposed to be. This makes sense in terms of speaking to others about this.
I am trying a new one that allows for higher ease of lower dosaging. It is kind of mind numbing...I may have taken too much. Just tried it today. I am all mentally dull from it.
I took MK-4 only once before and it made me super angry. I have been afraid to take it since. That was SuperiorSource K-2 MK-4 at 500 mcg. I'm probably going to try it again, because I want to understand where the anger stemmed from. Sometimes we are angry at others because we're so awesome. If it helps me to be awesome, that will be good.
Here's Dr. Lin's take: https://www.drstevenlin.com/how-to-choose-the-right-vitamin-k2-supplement/
Keep in mind...I'm the person who gets way overloaded on meds. I get all the freaky rare side effects from a drug's PDR. I don't know the right dosages for people and so I would just urge caution on this whole thing...and make sure your doc says it's okay. That's why I prefer food sources.
Yep! Tried & true... for me, this is what https://www.amazon.com/Superior-Source-Vitamin-Tablets-Count/dp/B006607OIE/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=amazon+superior+source+mk-4&qid=1560621958&s=gateway&sr=8-4 does:
Productivity to the max. It's like an upper or something. Not sure how other bodies are. I'll just have to remember to be patient on it or try it when nobody else is around and I want to catch up on old projects. I have plenty of projects to catch up on! :-) Yeah!
Optimally improving dietary intake should be your first step.
A high dosage would be my reccommendation. You can't have too much really. Make sure you have enough vitamin d3 too. There's another that helps with d3 absorbsion but it illudes me atm

I like that idea..load up on pasture raised butter, pasture raised cream, eggs, bacon, cheese, etc. If vegan, you may need supplementation...but I don’t know how those are made. Dr. Lin eats goose liver pate. I don’t know. Apparently poultry liver is good...but he does say not to do it too much. I think if I recall...only 2 x / week. You can still overdo natural stuff.
If it's a high dose of MK4 you're looking for then you can't really beat this one (as far as I know, the only better source you can get is the Thorne drops, but those are WAY too expensive IMO).
