I made a post about 10 months ago with a side by side image of my first 3 months mewing. I was told to come back after a year, so here we are 13 months into mewing. To be honest, I dont know if there are any structural changes. However, I feel like I have improved my forward head posture and my standing posture. I can now much easier get my tongue on the roof of my mouth. But I still have the problem of one side of my face being bigger than the other. Anyway here is a new side by side taken 1 year apart from each other (I was mewing for one month before the left image). Its hard getting the same angle, this is the best I've got.

Sorry but the head tilt is undeniable and I honestly can't see any changes aside from slightly better orbital support and tightening in the skin under the jaw.
Yes his head is tilted but I believe there has been forward growth since he’s now able to adopt better posture. His neck looks stronger and I’m guessing it looks thicker now from the front. It kind of mirrors @Progress ‘s neck change.
If he were to try and adopt his new posture 13 months ago his chin would be non existent. I’m willing to bet he’s taller now too.
I’m a mewing newbie though so I could be wrong. Maybe the vets on here could better interpret. A GIF could help to see if changes occurred.
@robbie343 Yes there is a slight tilt, but I think this is correct neck posture.. or am I wrong? First one seems so wrong now, but back then, I thought that was correct neck posture. I'm still trying to work on my posture and neck by stretching and constant reminders to keep my head up. Maybe I can eventually give more details on what I did soon. As for height, I was always 5' 6", but just got measured now and I'm 5'6 1/4", so I guess I gained a bit!
Like I said in my original post, my face is asymmetrical, left side is bigger than my right. I think it's because there is more muscle mass on that side; there may even be a cant in my maxilla, I dunno though.
I just wanted to share 2 more side by side pictures. The first one is comparing September 2017 to March 2020. Just keep in mind I didn't start mewing and working on my posture until February of 2019, so that first pic was my normal posture at that time, and as a side note, I was 10 pounds lighter in that Sept 2017 pic. The second set is of my right side profile comparing March 2019 vs. March 2020.

The first picture is terrible for comparison but the second one shows the areas of progress I mentioned earlier. Not bad.
It's been 7 months since my last post here, so in total I've been mewing for 20 months! I wanted to post an updated side by side image. Left image is February 2019, right image is October 2020. Cant believe its already been this long. I have still been mewing this whole time, but the biggest change is that I started working out. I'm 4 months into weight training. I'd like to cut out as much body fat as possible, and build up more muscle. I've been getting more focused on working on my posture by training back and shoulder muscles, As well as stretching chest muscles and neck muscles. I want to start incorporating neck training exercises. That's it for now, maybe I'll post another update at the 24 month mark!
No I haven't, but curious why you would ask? I definitely don't have the front tongue tie, but maybe in the back? For some reason I have that annoying double chin, so I have to try extra hard to get the back of my tongue up to eliminate that turkey neck. Wondering if that would be caused by the back of the tongue tie?
If you have a tongue tie, you're probably not making optimal progress as it takes too much effort to get your tongue in the position it actually needs to be in.
I started this journey in 2017 and only 2 months ago was diagnosed with a tongue tie when I went to a DNA appliance dentist. This whole time I thought there was no way I had a tongue tie, but now that I have a better picture of what's going on, I can see that I haven't been properly "mewing" at all due to a physical inability to get the tongue up as high as it needs to be.

It really seems like your nose is more uptipped now!
Just shy of 24 months of mewing.. still mewing, but it has become second nature.. meaning I don't think about it anymore.
I got Starecta to try out, nothing negative to report yet. One benefit I've found so far is that it allows the back of my tongue to come up much more easier. I only wear it on and off for about 8 hours a week. Maybe I'll update my Starecta use after using it some more.
Anyway, here's another update photo. First is Feb. 2019, 2nd is Jan. 2021. More photos above in thread for previous journey updates... and sorry for the beard.

Are you mewing in both photos? Your neck and submental area look much better
@robbie343 Yes I was mewing in both. The back of my tongue has gotten way stronger! Left photo is when I first started mewing.. also had more body fat.

@ope I have been mewing since 2017, 0 progress. I look exactly the same. Idk what progress they are talking about. Even the users here who claim they achieved progress never posted their progress for us to judge if they did or didn't. They live in a delusional state.
I can see significant changes in the nose/eye area and also much better posture!! Your progress gives me hope!! Any comments about the Starecta? You think it helped?
Only because you didn’t get results don’t mean every one have your genetic potential. Everyone’s genetic potential is different so their are people who got huge change other who get small change and other with zero change. his last update their is significant change for his age
Thanks! I had mixed feelings about Starecta before trying it. The details they provided on their site made a lot of sense, but reading into it more on this forum didn’t give me much hope. However, I did purchase it and use it daily.
I have not been seen by a dentist, but I believe I have an overbite. But, after wearing the Starecta for a few hours, it seems to relax my facial muscles and bring my lower jaw into a more aligned bite. It also relieves jaw tension… I seem to clench a lot. Also, the Starecta brings my lower jaw forward, allowing my tongue to go up much easier. The lever effect they describe on their site is an interesting idea. I feel like it is actually lifting the skull, and putting it in the proper aligned position.
Who knows though. I’ll keep using it, while mewing and post another update in a few months.
edit: just wanted to include I was not wearing the Starecta in the 2nd photo update.
The angle isn’t the same, even surgeons says that if you take before and after an inch different it changes the whole facial. Look at his eyebrow just a bit of change in angle changes a lot the perception of the face. Not his fault, kinda hard to take good result pictures
lmao you just lost weight, which makes your under-chin area look more prominent. And your head is tilted up in the "after". Nothing to see here, folks. Mewing is still incapable of moving concrete bones in adults.
Bro please teach me. I’d really kill to have a jaw like you. I just can’t seem to get it right or do it right. I don’t know what a suction hole feels like. Every time I mew I feel like I’m using considerable force. When I try to do the sweep I feel this sucking vacuum that pulls on my teeth and my lips stick to my teeth, it’s gotten to the point were my teeth feel like their wiggle or loose when I know they aren’t . I can barely mew for 10 minutes straight without constant trying to swallow and get the build up out of my throat or swallowing saliva. I just want to do things correctly.
