I'd love to ask author details on this topic. Mostly what kind of exact palate expander he used and where did he get it? Did you have to make the impressions at home and order the palate expander online or what? Or was it at Dr. Mews office?
30 yo, need to expand palate, move maxilla upward and forward, reduce gonial angle.
Here is the thread where TGW answered questions about his progress using the palate expander:

I'm here daily :)
The questions are answered in the linked thread.
I'm currently on the end of a month long excursion in Asia, where my internet has been limited to phone access. I'll be back more consistently soon.
I'm seeing absolutely incredible face and jaw development among people here, by the way. There's still a large prevalence of poor development, but the sheer amount of bulging cheekbones and razor jawlines compared to the average population in the developed world is staggering.
The food is soft however! And although there has been a correlation between neck posture and development, I've seen people with terrible forward head posture but amazing face/skull development. I definitely see a correlation between poverty and good facial form somehow.
I'll make a another forum post on this when I get back to my home country. I made no conclusions, just many interesting observations.
I've noticed the same thing about facial development on the Asian continent. Do you have any theories as to why? I think attributing it to poverty doesn't go far enough because even in more developed and wealthy places in Asia you still see the same level of facial development. It has to be something cultural. Is it something they eat? The way they eat? Something else altogether?
The best theory I was able to come up with was that eating rice requires more and better chewing than eating wheat products. Rice is also known to interfere less with the absorption of nutrients. Does it simply come down to the staple grain that they use? Or is it something else entirely? While you are there in person it would be good if you could try and solve this mystery. Go order a rice-based dish and think about how it feels to chew it.
Well Asia has extreme variation regarding just about anything. Geographically it's almost half of the world's landmass. Wholesome physical labor is more common in Asia than in the West. In the end the hardness of food matters very little when you are already functioning well enough to support proper facial development, and functioning well is something non-urban people learn easily. Many iconic Hollywood faces grew up in rural environment too.
Your physical body is programmed to concretely express and react to emotions. Failure to develop correctly into a full ROM human is equal to being emotionally stunted. Posture and mood are in a mutual feedback-loop. You can never feel real pride if you cannot take a prideful stance. You will never be content until you learn to keep yourself physically "open" to the present reality. All this affects wellbeing in a chronic and insidious way, so that people who start to develop poorly will mostly only worsen over time, both physically and mentally. It's a miniature death.
Some of you probably remember Tyler's post-facepulling experiences. He claimed his presence and gaze felt more focused. It was easier for him to appreciate the immediate beauty in whatever was in front of him. It's kind of seems like a melted face "sprays" your mental energies to the general direction you are facing, while a face where the jaw, eyes, nose and forehead are aligned probably gives a clear biological signal to your brain about what exactly you are trying to pay attention to.
This got a bit irrelevant, but anyways looking forward to hearing more stories.
How would that argument translate over to the Japanese population in big cities? Do you think that their lives are similar to ours in terms of ROM?
If you look at a simple video of someone walking around in Japan, it seems that the majority of faces are well developed despite the more westernized lifestyle.

I'm just trying to figure out what the difference is between life there and life in the West that keeps peoples faces well developed.
