My situation:

Inter-canine distance is 34 mm

Inter-molar distance is 40 mm

I have all my teeth minus the wisdom teeth, they were removed, 1 cavity (fixed) in the right side first premolar. The rest are healthy, barely warn. All molars & premolars in the maxilla and mandible are tipped inwards, so I have an overbite. The top molars are halfway biting on the side of the bottom molars. One of the top incisors sticks out, the 4th one on the right and there is very slight crowding in the bottom incisors.

How bad is it? What inter-molar distance should I expand to? looks like the molars, if they straighten that's at least 3 to 5 mm? Front teeth could use 2 mm space.

Important note; modern adults (or anyone over the age of 9) tend to have a molar width of 29 to 34mm. Anyone with 35 to 38mm will find it much easier but still very hard to make progressive improvements without any formal therapy, and as a rule of thumb when I finish therapy any one who can maintain 38mm or more without retainers tends to maintain good alignment almost indefinitely, with a minimal effort. During childrens treatment expand to 42mm for a girl and 44mm for a boy, clearly some of this is tipping of the molars. Ancient man had an inter-molar width in the high 40's to low 50's.

This is probably why I seem to have less issues with tongue posture than a lot of ppl here...

The roof of the mouth still seems deep tho. If I flatten my tongue it will push against the teeth & bone at the Alveolar Ridge and it does not reach the roof. I think if I correct and maintain the intermolar and intercanine distances e_e I will probably even develop gaps between the back teeth.

The main reason I'm here tho is the angle of the mandible. The ramus seems short which shoves the whole thing back into my neck and the angle in profile is bigger than 130 degrees -.- . The thing tho is I could comfortably bite more forward as the mandible repositioning seem to allow it without strain... but that results in an underbite & the teeth don't fit  FML.

I really hope in like 3 years time mewing fixes at least some of these issues.

@dominik i think were kinda in similar situation i have an overbite and some retroclined teeth as well but i do have a 40 mm pallete as well. Ive been trying to figure out what else i can do to fix the overbite but im stumped. I heard that maybe expanding the front of the pallete more or just raising the maxilla will fix it but im not sure

That is my hope as well, the teeth need to fit differently imo. I'm hoping that the mewing and chewing as well as general posture correction will widen the upper palette and the relationship between the teeth changes enough so the lower jaw can reposition itself just enough.  I have seen pictures with other ppl who have done just mewing and the mandible seems to have re-positioned itself by around year one, resulting in what I'd consider significant profile correction even tho cheek bone and facial changes seemed minor at best.

EDIT: wtf just noticed, when I push the tongue up with force, about 2 fingers below the chin the muscle bulges out like that of a frog singing e_e wtf I look like a frog when mewing hard. LMAO
