Mike mew tells us to say the letter n to get your tongue in the right place. I notice if I push when holding that position my masseters tense up a lot but I notice when I swallow I push upwards so my massteters don’t activate as much. are you supposed to push forward so your masseters flare well mewing and swallowing? Or are you just supposed to suck against the palate

Push against palate but don't clench.
Flex masseters if you want. Don't flex them. Just don't clench .
@eddiemoney this a a difficult question to explain it saying I notice that only when I push my tongue up and forward my masseters flex but with my normal swallowing form they don’t flex so I’m wondering if I’m pushing. In the right direction
Tongue sweep is independent of masseters. So just because masseters don't flex doesn't have to do with tongue

how not to tighten the masseter ? why ?
A lei do esforço nunca falha
I find that when I say the letter, "n" only the tip of my tongue is making contact and that is incorrect.
At 1:58 Sarah shows the three points of contact you should be maintaining at rest and during swallowing.
With my tongue on those three points, when I swallow my teeth evenly clench (molars, not front teeth) and that is what activates the masseters.
Hope that helped
You can activate your masseters without clenching. But activating them isn't necessary. You can activate them or not. You choice. But clenching causes deep bites and reduced lower thirds. Ogre.

Well if you focus on just tongue sweeping the masseter shouldn't become involved.
ive just noticed that pushing hard on the front of the pallettew well swallowing causes massters to flex so i was just curious if thats actually the correct way
Try pronouncing the "oo" sound and the "ah" sound with your mouth closed
