Tongue tip position, where on the papilla?

I've been mewing for the past year, and during that time I kept my tongue tip at the middle of my rugae. As a result, my midface has gone up, but the lower(cartilage) part of my nose is tilted down at a slight angle. This lead me to believe that the tip needs to be on the incisive papilla to support the upper mouth/ lower nose area. The question is, where on the papilla should my tongue tip rest. Slightly behind it, in the middle, or nearly touching the teeth? Or how many milimeters behind my front teeth? I made an account just to ask this lol.

Feel like that's something each has to find out for himself.

as close as possible. you want as much palatal coverage as possible. honestly, I think you can have the tongue tip in contact with the front teeth as long as there isn't any force being applied against them i.e tongue thrust.
