Yeah, bad sleep positions from pillows can reduce CSF exchange.
I saw a bunch of studies where stomach had the highest sleep quality though, but it's pretty hard you need a really flexible neck.
I haven't slept with a pillow for almost two years. Feels way better, to the point where the idea of ever using one makes no sense at all.
@harrykanemaxilla I sleep on my stomach. Back in 2018, there was a thread on here about Brad Pitt sleeping on the floor and I tried it despite knowing how uncomfortable it would be at the beginning. My "routine" lasted all of 20 minutes, it was utter hell and I knew how unsustainable it would be. I don't think sleeping on your stomach, laid out totally flat on a mattress with no pillow can be unhealthy.

I've did it for perhaps a year, at one point, but this was before I knew anything about orthotropics. I slept okay, but I don't know if it helped in any way.
Time to report. I tried sleeping on side with my arm as a pillow just like in video. So far it appears to be very successful. 3 days in a row I am waking up with my tongue stuck to my palate, I do engage a suction hold before going to sleep and try to keep my head in a chin tuck position with my arm. It's actually more comfortable than it seems at first

Wish I could do this, my arm falls asleep and starts hurting every-time I put my head on it.
